The primary aim of the program is to meet the growing demand for\u00a0<strong>qualified aviation personnel<\/strong>\u00a0and support the development of the\u00a0<strong>aviation industry<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The curriculum was first approved in&nbsp;<strong>2016<\/strong>, and the first cohort commenced their studies in the&nbsp;<strong>academic year 2017<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In\u00a0<strong>2020<\/strong>, a curriculum revision was undertaken to ensure that the program remained relevant to the evolving needs of the aviation industry. A series of meetings and consultations were conducted with both internal and external stakeholders to gather feedback and recommendations for curriculum improvement. As a result, several enhancements were introduced to strengthen students\u2019\u00a0<strong>aviation knowledge, practical skills, English language competency, and career opportunities<\/strong> within the aviation sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Following the revision, the updated curriculum was approved by the&nbsp;<strong>Academic Council on September 25, 2020<\/strong>, and by the&nbsp;<strong>College Council on October 9, 2020<\/strong>. The curriculum was subsequently submitted to the&nbsp;<strong>Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), formerly under the Office of the Higher Education Commission (OHEC)<\/strong>, and received&nbsp;<strong>official approval on February 10, 2021<\/strong>. The revised curriculum was implemented in the&nbsp;<strong>academic year 2021<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of its commitment to&nbsp;<strong>continuous quality improvement<\/strong>, the Aeronautics Major initiated another&nbsp;<strong>curriculum revision in 2025<\/strong>&nbsp;to further enhance the program in response to&nbsp;<strong>current aviation industry trends, technological advancements, and stakeholder expectations<\/strong>.
