The Faculty of Education is committed to admitting students who are academically qualified, highly motivated, and passionate about pursuing a career in teaching<\/strong>. The program seeks individuals who demonstrate a strong commitment to learning, a genuine interest in education, and the potential to become competent, ethical, and innovative educators capable of contributing effectively in both local and global educational settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To ensure transparency, fairness, and consistency, the Faculty has established clearly defined student intake policies, admission criteria, and admission procedures. These policies and procedures are officially communicated, publicly published through institutional platforms and admission materials, and regularly reviewed and updated to ensure alignment with current academic, professional, and institutional standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Applicants seeking admission to the program are required to possess a minimum high school GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale and must successfully pass an admission interview. The admissions process is carefully administered by the Admissions Office, which thoroughly evaluates all applications to ensure that qualified and motivated candidates are selected through a comprehensive, transparent, and equitable process. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  3. Selection Criteria:<\/strong> Criteria include academic performance, English language proficiency (if applicable), and other relevant factors.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Application Announcement:<\/strong> The program, in coordination with the faculty and university, announces the application period.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Qualification Screening:<\/strong> Applications are reviewed to verify qualifications.<\/li>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, the program is actively expanding its international reach by recruiting students globally, aligning with our goal of becoming a leading Teacher Education Program.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Preparation before commencement of Study <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Before the commencement of their academic studies, students undergo preparation through the university\u2019s Intensive English Program (IEP),<\/strong> which is designed to strengthen their English language proficiency and support their readiness for university learning. The program provides students with opportunities to develop their communication and academic language skills in a supportive and student-centered environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The Intensive English Program focuses on the four macro skills of English language learning: reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Students participate in intensive English classes for a period of two months, allowing them to improve their language competence, confidence, and academic preparedness before officially starting their degree programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Assignment of Senior Students as Student Assistants <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    To further support students\u2019 academic adjustment and overall well-being, the faculty assigns senior students to assist and guide junior students throughout their studies.<\/strong> This initiative promotes peer support, student engagement, and a collaborative learning environment within the faculty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The assigned senior students help advise and guide students on academic and university-related concerns, monitor attendance and participation,<\/strong> and assist in preparing and facilitating student activities and programs. They also serve as role models and provide encouragement and support to help students adapt successfully to university life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The Program is committed to providing comprehensive academic and non-academic support services through both short-term and long-term planning to ensure the sufficiency, accessibility, and quality of services that support teaching, research, and community service. This commitment is reflected in our Faculty\u2019s strategic and operational plans<\/strong>, which guide the continuous development and implementation of student support systems and services. From admission to graduation, the Program fosters an environment that enables students to excel academically while also supporting their personal and professional development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    To achieve this, the Program continuously plans, reviews, and enhances its support services to address the evolving needs of students, faculty, and stakeholders. Academic support services include academic advising, learning resources, instructional support, research guidance, and access to educational technologies, while non-academic support services encompass student welfare, counseling, career guidance, extracurricular activities, and community engagement initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Through systematic planning and continuous improvement, these support services are designed to create a holistic learning environment that promotes student success, strengthens teaching and research activities, and encourages meaningful participation in community service and professional development activities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
