1.1 History of the Program

St Teresa International University (TRSU) the former St Theresa International College (STIC) offers internationally recognized programs that are fine-tuned to ensure that students are given a high quality education. TRSU make its ultimate goal to help students fully prepare for their future careers. TRSU areas of excellence range from the humanities to business to nursing sciences. In addition to its rigorous coursework, the university stands out for its commitment to real-life practice. It produces and encourages students to have the opportunity to apply and develop the skills and experience they will need to compete and excel in the professional world.

TRSU courses comply with international standards and are taught primarily in English by multicultural staff. If students love to travel, study abroad and exchange programs TRSU can send a student overseas to study at one of its partner institutions. The student’s study will be fully accredited to the TRSU degree. This is in accordance to its vision, mission, objectives and quality policy.

TRSU has five different faculties. One of the faculties is Faculty of Business Administration. The FBA is an integral part of a learning organization that adopts quality assurances, cultural knowledge and wisdom in conjunction with international collaborations, and university network to produce successful graduates who are highly prized by national and global professions.

The Faculty of Business Administration is internationally recognized for its world-class programs offered in a congenial and research environment. As an active and integral part of a learning organization, the faculty strives to develop business management and service professionals with core competencies, learning attitude, strong leadership, moral values, professional ethics and concern for social responsibility. Programs are organized and directed by our highly qualified faculty that are specialized in business administration, aviation and services of globalized corporations.

The Faculty of Business Administration consists of 7 Undergraduate programs and 1 Graduate program. One of the programs underlying it is Airline Business Program.

1.2 Current Curriculum

Airline Business program aims to produce first-class graduates in the field of airline business. The students will experience an international learning environment as all courses are conducted in the English language. Friendly facilities such as simulated cabin mock up together with courses directed by experienced airline experts and academic professionals, shall prepare students for the career challenges ahead. Through field trips, our students will have the chance to visit numerous airline business industries located in various airports around Thailand such as Suvarnabhumi Airport and Don Mueang International Airports, and also companies like TG Operation Center (OPC), Thai Airways International Cargo and Thai Catering where they will be well familiarized with real-life routines. Our program includes “On-the-Job-Training” opportunities for 4th year students, with the purpose of engaging them in practical skills needed for professional development within both, local and international airline industries such as Aeroflot Russian Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Nok Air, Qatar Airways, Mahan Air, Oman Air, Air France, Lufthansa, Thai-Air Asia, Thai Airways International, Thai Airways Royal Orchid Lounge, Emirates, Austrian Airlines, EVA Air and the Airport Authority of Thailand (AOT). Graduates will be ready to step out and obtain prominent positions, working together with professionals in the airline business, not only locally, but at an international level as well.
